Amanda Gellman works with the private and public sector to create manan, or “new beginnings and opportunities”. Her clients are in diverse sectors, including film, manufacturing, social services, education, agriculture, community development and more. She has worked extensively in the US and Canada, and has also helped businesses and non-profits around the globe. Amanda is well versed in all facets of marketing as well as private sector and government fund development – and a highly successful proposal writer, skilled trainer and experienced meeting facilitator. True to her east coast roots, Amanda is a “people person” who understands that brand identity is about building a good team as well as getting others to believe in your value proposition and engaged in cross promoting your key messages. Amanda enjoys connecting people and helping to build long-term relationships to create new beginnings and opportunities for MANAN clients. She holds a liberal arts degree in business administration and art, with graduate studies in child & family development and coursework in theology and non-profit management. She is the former Vice-President Advancement for the University of Windsor and, of note, the first female VP at that institution. Amanda has also received many recognitions including: 40 under 40 in St. Louis, The Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal, The McDonnell Douglas Feed America Award, Windsor’s Women of the Year 2001, and The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal.

Emilio J. Carro is an International Cinematographer/Filmmaker with over 14 years of experience on the Video Production field. He holds a Video & Photography Technical Degree from Spain (2001), and he recently received a Certificate in Applied Information from the University of Windsor (2015).
Emilio worked for TV networks & Video production companies in Spain and US, having the opportunity to create videos for well-respected companies, like Roché Pharmaceuticals, bringing his good work to a lot of projects over the years. In Spain, he started to work for one of the four Spanish provincial TV networks as Camera & Sound operator, covering all types of productions (European Soccer League, TV live shows, TV series, News, etc.) He was noticed for his work and received an offer from a Video Production company in the US to place him as Manager of the Video production department, where he could further develop his unique signature way of storytelling, and elevate the name of the company in the market.
Currently, Emilio works as a Cinematographer in several independent productions, and also worked with MANAN clients, including the South Asian Centre, Windsor Star, A Life Worth Living, and many others.

Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Ines Cherif works with MANAN clients on marketing, branding and fundraising materials, including web design, logos, illustrations, annual reports, magazines, posters, brochures, flyers, banners, invitations, letterhead, and more. Ines is skilled in imagery development, and has vast experience in multiple artist endeavours and with various mediums. She has excellent communications skills and she is client-centred, and her work ethic is always appreciated. Ines is also a painter and has participated in many artistic expositions in her country of birth, Tunisia. An April 2015 graduate from the University of Michigan’s Screen Arts and Cultures department with a concentration in production, Nicole serves as the Director of the FilmCampForKids.com, founded and produced by MANAN’s CEO through Raindance Windsor-Detroit. She has also worked with MANAN clients, including the Northstar Cultural Community centre, A Life Worth Living, the South Asian Centre and many others. She has worked on films that have been selected to play at Michael Moore’s Traverse City Film Festival as well as written and directed films that have gone onto to win cash prizes in local and student festivals. She worked as a P.A. on the feature film The Birderstarring Tom Cavanagh, Fred Willard, Mark Rendall and Graham Greene with The Dot Film Company based in Toronto, Ontario. Nicole also has a BFA in Theatre Performance: Acting from the University of Michigan where she produced and directed original work and lead a number of stage productions for both faculty and student productions. In her stage work she has toured around Ontario in award winning productions, and was a participant in the 2010 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the worlds largest fringe festival. Currently, Nicole works as a video editor for local and international clients, and acts as Camp Director during the summer months.

Marc has worked for over 10 years in the private sector in advertising, marketing and communications in New York City and Toronto. He’s had the opportunity to work at some of the most creative and innovative advertising agencies (Droga5, Radical Media, TBWA, Fred&Farid to name a few) with some of the world’s largest and well known brands including United Nations, American Express, Visa, Sony PlayStation, Spotify, HP Computers, Grey Goose Vodka, Kraft Cheese, Prudential, TripAdvisor and Petro Canada.
He has launched, grown and relaunched these brands in the US, Canada, Africa, Middle East and Latin America, so he has a strong understanding of how to strategically lead these brands in both their core markets as well as how to expand factoring the unique dynamics of each market and region.
Marc has also spent time in the public sector working for the non-partisan think tank, Woodrow Wilson Center, in Washington DC, as well as consulting with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation on a project focusing on Gender Equality in 5 markets in Africa.

Stephen Willetts is the former Vice President Finance and Administration of two Canadian Universities, the University of Winnipeg and the University of Windsor, and currently serves as a Board Member for Canterbury College. He has served on many Boards and committees, including for St. Mark’s-by-the-Lake Anglican Church and the Town of Tecumseh. He also worked as a corporate accountant while living in the UK. He is a chartered accountant, and is fully dedicated to helping non-profits grow without risk as well as be accountable to their Boards, clients and supporters. The primary goal of the company is to provide expertise in strategic planning, training, meeting facilitation, project management and grant writing for not-for-profits who do not have the resources to provide these supports in house. Her work supports organizations in health, human services and the arts. Colleen believes in engaging people in the identification of issues and development of solutions. She has worked with many non-profit and charitable organizations, and is interested in participating in applied research. She has been part of a team that implemented the “Your Health Matters” cancer prevention screening tool in ethno-cultural communities as well as a project that examined breast health practices among women in four ethno-cultural communities, which won an honourable mention award for community based research from the Wellesley Institute. Sam Goldberg is a pioneer in Canadian renewable fuels, and he has a large network of contacts in the renewable energy and energy savings industries, agriculture, waste services and biomass producers that can benefit MANAN clients. In 2003 he opened Canada’s first Biodiesel service station and also investigated the potential implementation of E-85 at a traditional service station, working with representatives of major vehicle manufactures plus petroleum and ethanol blender-suppliers. Sam later consulted for the Canadian Renewable Fuels Association and established a network of early adopters in fleet management and renewable fuels. 2005-08 Sam was responsible for plant site location, feedstock collection contracts for The Biodiesel Company based in Toronto plus the marketing of finished product. Of late he worked within Ameresco, proposing renewable and energy services solutions to commercial, intuitional and industrial clients. Sam then aligned with Canadian Solar to develop 30 MW of ground-mounted Photovoltaic solar farms worth approximately $150 million, and most recently developed and delivered a sustainable engineering course on energy modeling systems at Georgian College applying RETScreen™ and other software to model viability of conservation and demand management, photovoltaic’s, wind and geothermal, biogas systems. Currently he is developing a predictive model for estimating the quantity of electric vehicle charging stations required within multi-residential buildings. Sam holds an MSc. in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University plus a BA Honours in Geography from Carleton University.
